ARCHERY MERIT BADGE WORKSHOP

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
All Scouts interested in completing the “make a bow string and arrow” requirement for their Archery Merit Badge
At this workshop we will be making bow strings, and arrows, which are both requirements of the Archery Merit Badge. There will be three 90 minutes sessions available for scouts to choose from. The maximum number of scouts per session is 8. There are 24 spaces open…first come, first serve. There will be a $7.00 charge per scout to cover the materials. Please bring the payment with you. Bow strings will be kept to be used with our troop bows. Scouts may take home their arrow.

MERIT BADGE INFORMATION
If you arrive with:
- Your completed Archery Merit Badge worksheet;
- Your qualifying score sheet from a previous troop shoot;
- Your signed blue cared;
AND:
- Complete the building of your arrow and bow string…
THEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ARCHERY MERIT BADGE, AND YOUR BLUE CARD WILL BE SIGNED OFF AS “COMPLETE”
If any of these requirements have not been met, you will still receive a “partial” sign-off.
