Rifle Shoot 12/13/09
TROOP 583 RIFLE SHOOTING
VT Ranch

9:30-12:30
Cost: $5.00 (payable upon arrival)
This troop shooting event is open to all scouts who have attended the mandatory troop safety course.
Scouts who have already earned their Rifle Merit Badge are welcome to attend and begin/continue their NRA Marksmanship Qualification. Scouts who still need to qualify for the shooting portion of their Rifle Merit Badge are also welcome to attend. (Please remember to bring your blue cards and previous score sheets.) All Scouts must bring a signed permission slip. New Scouts must also bring the signed “Troop Waiver” located on the troop website.
We will be meeting at VT Ranch, at the new archery range. All cars should be parked in the parking lot, and scouts should walk in. VT will have another group using the camp, and have asked us to limit ourselves to the archery range, and please not roam around the camp.

Notes:
a. Based on the number of scouts who register, we may assign specific time slots for scouts to arrive. This will alleviate some waiting time. If we do this, I will notify you no later than 12/9 of your time slot. If you don’t hear from me, just arrive at 9:30 as planned.
b. We can only take a max of 28 scouts, so “first come-first serve” for registration.
c. Please drop off and pick up scouts on time.
